Autumn Term 

Darwin’s Delights

We have learnt about the science of evolution. We looked into the science behind how eye colour and other genetic traits are passed on from parent to child. We learnt that evolution is the idea of 'survival of the fittest'. We also learnt about Darwin, about who he was and the research he carried out in the Galapagos Islands. Below is some of the work that we have done on the Darwin Delights topic.

Fallen Fields 

In this topic we where learning about the first World War. We have found out about who where the main powers in the World War. We looked at a timeline of the war and what the relevance of the Balkan countries where. We looked at a map of Europe to identify the countries. We have even researched the weapons that where used.
